Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to work with schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions to diagnose and service equipment. The role involves diagnosing and isolating advanced automation equipment systems, troubleshooting and analyzing complex problems, and implementing remedies safely. Responsibilities include control issues with any drive or PLC components, PLC program modifications, and troubleshooting. You will utilize electrical/arc flash rated tools and be expected to design, draw, assemble, and install electronic components, as well as program various electronic equipment to meet production needs.

Hard Skills

Strong knowledge of Alan Bradley hardware/software required.

Previous electronic or maintenance experience in manufacturing environment required

PLC programming skills in RS logix5000 required.

Understands Industrial Automation Networks: EtherNet\IP, Modbus TCP. ControlNet, Preferred

Knowledge of HMI programming. FT View SE/ME Preferred

Must be able to work independently.

Machine Trouble Shooting Skills

Strong interpersonal skills with the willingness and initiative to learn.

Have good communications skills.

Ability to observe good manufacturing practices (GMPs)

Ability to follow safety rules and procedures.

Job Type

This is a direct hire position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in SOLON, Ohio.

Work Environment

Must be able to work 40 hours per week with some daily overtime and weekend overtime. Must be able to work during any shift as assigned, shifts are 12 hours 3 / 4 rotation. The work environment is very clean and in the food industry, which may involve exposure to food smells, freezers (up to negative 40 degrees), and oven areas (up to 115 degrees).

The pay rates are as follows: $32.24 - $38.55/hr
