VWR INTERNATIONAL, LLC Manufacturing Operator in Solon, Ohio

The Opportunity: Avantor is looking for a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Operator to optimize our Chemical Manufacturing team, delivering results against some of the most complex business and technology initiatives. This role will be a full-time position based out of our Solon Industrial, Ohio facility. You will have the opportunity to prepare, setup, weigh, package, fill, and label customer demands in accordance with cGMP procedures. The team Avantor's Solon Industrial facility is part of our Chemicals Manufacturing team. This team supports the innovation and growth objectives with industries such as medical and hospital groups. What we're looking for Education: High school diploma or equivalent required Experience: 1+ years in a manufacturing or production facility preferred Must be able to use proper techniques to lift up to 75 lbs Preferred Qualifications Chemical manufacturing preferred Packaging experience a plus How you will thrive and create an impact Responsible for ensuring the lines are set-up and running to the production schedule in accordance to the work orders Clean and inspect lines as well as perform line change-overs as needed. Take particle count samples and run particle count tests. Prepare customer trucks to include sealing, sampling, and associated paperwork. Inspect and close MPO's. Keep accurate production records. Collaborates with Supervisors and Maintenance Personnel, to determine equipment set-up and operations. Works with the Quality Assurance Department to understand, recognize and rectify quality issues. Has the authority and responsibility to stop the line and notify QA of a contamination event. Ability to perform the duties of both a packaging operator and material handler. Comply with all cGMP requirements.
