Job Title: Financial Analyst

Job Description

The major responsibilities include assisting with the monthly close, compiling and preparing journal entries, and evaluating the impact of Gross Proceeds of Sales on Total Trade Spending (TTS) versus material changes in rates. The role also involves forecasting TTS impact at a detailed level, calculating prior month actual exposure, and compiling journal entries for Broker Commission. You will be required to adjust rates/customers within the Access database, process Broker Commission payment requests, and assist in projecting Broker Commission for future activity to input rates into the Dodeca program. Additional responsibilities include supporting Bottoms Up (BUP) / Dynamic Forecast, estimating Sales Forecast down to group level from Brand reporting, updating sales forecasts by channel, consolidating manager BUP Forecasts, and uploading various P&L rates into Dodeca. You will also process payments for Trade Related Expenses, prepare journal entries to book current activity to P&L monthly, and prepare reclass journal entries to reclassify expenses to Product Fixed Marketing Expenses.

Hard Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance

  • Strong Microsoft Excel/data manipulation experience

  • Experience with the monthly close process

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Solon, Ohio and some days remote.

Work Environment

Training will be in office. Then it will be hybrid from there.
