Description

As a Staff Accountant in Real Estate Development, you will play a pivotal role in supporting financial operations for our prestigious projects in Solana Beach. You'll collaborate closely with project teams, analyze financial data, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing, for high-profile real estate development projects.

• Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports to support decision-making for project stakeholders.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities for real estate development projects.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure financial goals are met and projects stay within budget.

• Support audit processes and respond to auditor inquiries in a timely manner.

• Assist in the implementation of accounting software and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on real estate development preferred.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
