Position Description:

Primary purpose:

  • Responsible for the safe and efficient repair and maintenance of equipment within the assigned asset.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily maintenance activities in the SACROC and Diamond M Field

  • Daily maintenance includes,

  • Pipeline repairs to flowlines, injection lines, gas lines.

  • Repairing or replacing control valves, butterfly, ball, and check valves.

  • Removing and cleaning screens.

  • Installing or replacing well head connections.

  • Working on Manifolds, water stations, and water gatherings.

  • Work on other nonrotating equipment.

  • Keep track of the budget and report all expenses.

  • Work with a contract crew to complete assigned tasks/work orders

  • Ensure all EHS procedures, Maintenance procedures, and practices are followed while carrying out tasks

  • Diagnose and work to resolve problems related to vessels, tanks and valves

  • Plan and schedule daily work activities

  • Maintain good standing with all required training

  • Knowledge of construction standards and O&M procedures

Minimum requirements:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience / specific knowledge:

  • 3-5 years’ experience working on fixed equipment (vessels, tanks, valves, etc..)

Certifications, licenses, registrations:

  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record as determined by the company and a current, valid State driver’s license

  • Subject to random drug testing

Competencies, skills, and abilities:

  • Basic computer skills with assigned programs

  • Able to work with limited supervision

  • Able to work with contractors to perform work safely

  • Ability to work from written or verbal instructions

  • Proficient with operating hand tools and

  • Working knowledge of production facilities, vessels, tanks and valves

  • Able to provide cost estimates on jobs as requested

  • Demonstrate an understanding of processes

  • Ability to properly prioritize tasks

  • Able to find and troubleshoot difficult problems and develop solutions

Physical demands:

  • Primarily outside work using tools

  • Frequently lift and carry, unassisted, items weighing up to 50 pounds

  • Walking, climbing, standing, and sitting

  • Some inside work for training, working on computer

Working conditions:

  • Day shift work with some holidays, weekends and call outs

  • Overtime required

  • Emergency response

  • On-call rotation

  • Must respond to call out with-in 30 mins.

Supervisory responsibility:

  • None.

Preferred education, experience, certifications, competencies, skills, and abilities:

Above the minimum requirements; not required but advantageous in this position:

Associates or technical degree
