Production Supervisor in Smyrna, TN 37167

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in supervising the press department. This role involves directing and developing team leaders and press operators, driving production numbers, maintaining safety, tracking KPIs, monitoring scrap, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the press department on both day and night shifts.

• Direct and develop team leaders and press operators.

• Drive production numbers to meet targets.

• Maintain safety standards within the department.

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor scrap rates.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.

• Coordinate production scheduling and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Essential Skills

• Proven supervisory skills in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience in production supervision, particularly in metal stamping.

• Strong knowledge of press machines and overhead crane operation.

• Familiarity with kaizen and continuous improvement processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in automotive manufacturing.

• Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 suppliers.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Smyrna, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
