Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our maintenance team and assist with preventative and corrective maintenance on Fanuc robots. The role involves working in a fast-paced, clean, and mostly automated assembly facility with over 300 Fanuc robots and Omron PLCs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Fanuc robots.

  • Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, including Omron and Allen Bradley PLCs.

  • Assist with industrial maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of automated equipment.

  • Work closely with the internal maintenance team to get ahead on preventative maintenance and limit breakdowns.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with Fanuc robots.

  • Electrical maintenance skills.

  • PLC troubleshooting experience.

  • Background in industrial maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Omron PLCs.

  • Knowledge of automation processes.

  • Experience working in an automotive supplier environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and clean, located at the ILC assembly plant. The facility primarily uses automated equipment. The work schedule is flexible, with most shifts likely being Tuesday-Saturday to accommodate preventative maintenance on Saturdays. Available shifts include 1st shift (5:30 AM - 3:30 PM) and 2nd shift (5:30 PM - 3:00 AM).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Smyrna, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
