Randstad Staffing has partnered with a Nationwide company located in LaVergne, TN in staffing for their 1st shift Maintenance Technician position. This role is a direct hire offering a 40 hour work week as well as overtime as required. If you have prior experience working with PLCs, troubleshooting production equipment and are capable to repair electrical, hydraulics, and mechanical equipment. THIS IS THE JOB FOR YOU! Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to the following, other duties may be applied;

• Dedicated to improving safety and quality in all areas.

• Must be able to interact with other team members in relaying information.

• Maintain clean work areas, and promotes good housekeeping practices.

• Proficiently able to disassemble and perform technical repairs of all plant equipment.

• Advanced knowledge of working with control and 480 volt electrical circuits.

• Ability to work independently performing complex maintenance task and projects.

• Must have a good understanding of operating processes and be able to assist in maintaining efficient machine operations.

• Must complete all assigned PM orders in a timely manner.

• Must be well rounded in performing multi-skilled task.

• Medium to advanced knowledge of hydraulic pneumatic systems

• Proficient fabrication and welding skills.

• mechanical skills and practices

• Proficient knowledge of preventive maintenance practices

• Able to perform multi-skilled task proficiently

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 6 hours at one time
