Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Associate Manager, Program Finance in Sleepy Hollow, New York
We are seeking an Associate Manager, Program Finance to be part of the dynamic Finance team that supports the development of Regeneron’s clinical programs. It is essential that the associate manager position works cross-functionally with global development, accounting, and external, clinical development partners to maintain a strong command of clinical study financials.
A typical day might include:
Financial Data Management & Forecasting: Maintain and update Excel workbooks summarizing actual and forecasted development spend. Track development expenses, ensuring that budgets align with forecasts, and identify any variances
Reconciliation with Accounting: Partner with the accounting team to reconcile actual financial data. Ensure alignment between recorded financials and actual spend. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
Accrual Guidance: Provide accrual guidance to the accounting team to ensure proper recognition of expenses in the correct financial period
Invoicing Support: Collaborate with the accounting team to provide necessary details for development partner invoicing. Ensure timely and accurate generation of invoices based on contractual agreements and actual project expenses.
Creation of Senior Governance Meeting Presentations: Develop and design clear, visually appealing presentations to support strategic decisions between Regeneron and our external, development partners.
Reporting to Development Partners: Prepare and share financial reports with external, development partners, providing clear summaries of actuals, forecasts, and variances. Provide insights into financial performance and assist partners with any queries or clarifications.
Ad-hoc Analysis and Reporting: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to support decision-making and critical thinking. Continuously find opportunities to streamline financial processes and reporting
This role might be for you if you have:
Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to create complex financial models and manage large datasets.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial partners.
Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with accounting, operations, and external, program development partners.
A candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in a business, scientific, or quantitative field; MBA/CPA/CFA a plus. +7 years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, or a similar role. *This role will require working onsite a minimum of 3 days per week.
