Responsible for the programing and production of the Robotic Welding system, ensuring production procedures are carried out smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits. Program robotic welders, maintain the expected production rates and perform maintenance related work in the manufacturing and production process of reinforcing mats. Utilize pendant menus and displays for entry of welding routines, program commands and weld data. Work with controller power supply, main CPU, Aux control board, amplifier I/O board operation panel. Setup and operate robotic welders in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Adjust machine setting to complete tasks according to specifications and production demands. Operate light, medium and heavy equipment including forklift. Place steel reinforcing in jigs in the production process of items. Tear down and set up of equipment and jigs related to production of rebar items. Operate various hand-operated tools related to steel fabrication. Maintain equipment and perform daily inspections of equipment.
