Location : Skowhegan, ME

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay : $45-$55/hr *Experience Dependent

** This is a contract position - NO per diem.

Looking to start on March 10th.


Job Description

We are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our team in an industrial setting in Skowhegan, ME. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring electrical installations and maintenance are performed safely and efficiently. You will need all of your own tools as well as an active journeyman license in Maine to be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize jobsite safety and adhere to all safety protocols.

  • Ensure reliability by being dependable and punctual.

  • Work a standard 40-hour workweek from Monday through Thursday, with occasional 50-hour weeks including Fridays.

  • Be flexible and willing to work night and weekend shifts as needed.

  • Work 10-hour shifts and stand and walk on concrete floors for extended durations.

  • Work from heights/elevated platforms and climb and work from ladders.

  • Lift up to 50 pounds.

Essential Skills

  • Maine Journeyman or Master Electrician license.

  • 2+ years of commercial and industrial experience.

  • Proficiency in bending and installing EMT and Rigid conduit of all sizes.

  • Skill in pulling wire and control panel wiring.

  • Experience wiring distribution panels, Motor Control Centers, electrical disconnects, and motors.

  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.

  • Experience operating aerial lifts and scissor lifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience is a plus.

Work Environment

  • Our industrial setting requires working 10-hour shifts, standing and walking on concrete floors, and working from heights or elevated platforms. The role also involves climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds.

  • Our standard workweek is 40 hours, Monday through Thursday, with occasional 50-hour weeks including Fridays, and sometimes requires night and weekend shifts. Flexibility and a commitment to safety are essential.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Skowhegan, Maine.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $56.00/hr.
