Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Candidates will work on a production line, each having their own work cell. Responsibilities include pouring lubrication liquid into bottles, capping glass bottles, sealing bottles, labeling, and inspecting to pack. Candidates will wear multiple hats and work at different stations. Responsibilities also include boxing, wrapping, and packing merchandise carefully as they are all glass bottles and FDA regulated. Additionally, candidates will be responsible for packaging, labeling, and stacking boxes near the shipping area, as well as documenting any quality issues or delays with shipments as needed.

Shift - 1st Shift (7am - 3.30pm)

Pay - 17/hr

Responsibilities

• Pour lubrication liquid into bottles

• Cap glass bottles

• Seal bottles

• Label and inspect bottles for packing

• Box, wrap, and pack merchandise carefully

• Package, label, and stack boxes near the shipping area

• Document any quality issues or delays with shipments

Essential Skills

• 1 year of manufacturing experience in production line work, packing, or button pushing

• Comfortable with repetitive tasks

• Ability to lift 20 lbs sporadically throughout the day

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1 year of GMP medical or foods experience

• Quality inspection and documentation experience

• Forklift experience - could help the shipping team load trucks

Smaller shop environment, clean and temperature-controlled. The production equipment is set up as stations, and they have work cells that employees operate in. In the shipping area, they have their own table stations and work independently but with the team. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Skokie, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
