Job Title: Machinist (Level 1 and Level 2)

Job Description

Seeking skilled Level 1 and Level 2 Machinists to join our dynamic team. The selected candidates will be responsible for setting up and operating multiple CNC Lathe machines, performing 1-3 setups per day, and conducting first-piece and final piece inspections. This position requires working with Okuma and other CNC machines, mainly lathes, and involves using Fanuc controls. The role demands experience in either a production or job shop setting, with a preference for candidates who have specific Fanuc control experience.

Work Environment

The work environment features brands like Okuma and various types of machines including mills and lathes, controlled primarily by Fanuc. The facility operates two shifts: 1st shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, and 2nd shift from 2 PM to midnight, Monday to Friday. Training may occur on the 1st shift depending on the machinist's level. Safety is a priority; thus, steel toe shoes are mandatory, and additional protective gear like hard hats, safety glasses, and ear plugs are provided. The workspace is clean and organized, spanning across two separate buildings.
