Role reports to: Director of International Tax

Location: Skillman, NJ Kenvue’s corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.

Travel %: 10%

Pay : $83-102K

What You Will Do

Senior Tax Analyst, North America

This position reports into the Director of International Tax and is currently based in Skillman, NJ. This role will eventually be based in Summit, NJ beginning in 2025.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the preparation of North America (U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico) income tax compliance by coordinating and working closely with co-source provider(s).

  • First review of North America (U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico) income tax returns and workpapers prepared by co-source provider(s) for accuracy, completeness, and disclosure.

  • Support the Global Tax Reporting Team with the preparation of general ledger postings, account analysis, and reconciliations of tax accounts along with other ad-hoc requests.

  • Maintain tax depreciation and amortization schedules for fixed and intangible assets in North America (U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico).

  • Resolve Federal and State income tax notices.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and workpaper automation.

  • Assist under the direction of the Director of International Tax in the preparation of Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, and Sec. 163(j) computations for tax reporting purposes.

  • Assist under the direction of the Director of International Tax Aid in the review of Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, 8990, 8991, 8992, 8993 and other related US international tax compliance returns.

  • Oversee the execution of quarterly estimated tax payments for North America (U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico).

  • Assist with various tax planning projects centered around proposed or enacted legislation.

  • Maintain effective internal control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in Accounting/Finance, or any related business.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate tax or public accounting.

  • Prior experience and strong knowledge of U.S. Federal and State Corporate Tax Return preparation.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools and have intermediate to advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to articulate complex information.

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or professional certification such as an MBA, MST, CPA, etc.

  • Experience in managing a co-source provider.

  • Corptax, SAP, ONESTREAM, and ONESOURCE experience.
