Role reports to: Senior Director, Operations Strategy & Performance

Location: Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.

Travel %: 10

Pay: Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $98,000 to $167,900. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.

What you will do

The Manager, Global Operations Strategy is responsible for l eading elements of strategic planning for the Operations function in alignment with the Kenvue Strategy and Vision. This role will translate various inputs from industry research, benchmarking exercises, and competitive intelligence initiatives and analysis outputs for our business to develop strategic recommendations for the Operations plan and projects.

The Manager, Global Operations Strategy drives the strategic planning process and has responsibility for managing overall timeline and key deliverables for the global team. This position will interact across end-to-end Operations to enable alignment with financial planning and the successful cascade of strategy into operating and annual plans, including, the OKR goal setting framework and integrated performance management program. The Manager, Global Operations Strategy also has responsibility for partnering with key stakeholders to create effective communication and change management materials related to strategy .

Key Responsibilities
Manage the annual strategic planning processing including timeline and key deliverables in coordination with global team.
Conduct on ongoing effective strategy input processes, environmental scans, customer insights gathering, industry trends, and benchmarking exercises. Translates for our business, identifies opportunities and threats, and present recommendations to senior leaders to enable strategic decision making.
Assess and monitor progress and performance of strategic projects and programs to identify risks and opportunities; investigate and recommend improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement action plans.
Partner with Kenvue Global Strategy Team and Operations Finance throughout 3-year operating plan cycle to support prioritization with required inputs for strategic investment and capital spend decisions. Lead elements of OKR goal setting framework for Global Operations function.
Lead ad-hoc projects related to future state strategy or key business initiatives and implementations.
Monitor industry trends and best practices and facilitate cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Key internal relationships include end-to-end Operations (Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality), Global Strategy, Finance, Communications; Key external relationships include Consulting & Research Firms, Peer Benchmarking Groups, Tech Vendors, etc.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain / Operations or a functional role in the CPG/FMCG industry
Strategic Planning Experience; track record of developing and executing successful strategies
Proven experience in research/competitive intelligence analysis
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to gather, analyze, and distill complex data and information for technical and non-technical audiences
Project Management Skills; ability to develop clear action plans and execute; ability to manage and drive alignment across various stakeholders
Strong Financial Acumen
A minimum 2 years of people leadership experience
Highly effective written and verbal communication, influencing, and collaboration skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

Desired Qualifications
MBA or Master's Degree in Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration
Consulting & Research Firm Experience
Project Management Certification
Acquisitions & Divestitures Experience
