Role reports to: North America Commercial Director

Location: Kenvue’s corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025

Travel %: 10%

Pay: $97,000 - $166,750

What you will do

Our Haircare Business consisting of the OGX®, MAUI MOISTURE®, ROGAINE®, NEUTROGENA®, and AVEENO® brands, develops, manufactures, and markets premium hair care products sold worldwide and recommended by medical professionals. The product line includes shampoo, conditioner, hair regrowth products, treatments, and stylers.

The Brand Manager will Lead the strategy development, execution, and business management of the US Rogaine, Neutrogena, and Aveeno Hair Portfolios Hair reporting into the US Commercial Director working hand in hand with many cross functional stakeholders, brand manager peers, and managing 1-2 assistant brand managers.

Specific responsibilities include all aspects of brand management, including business analysis and marketing programs that support strategic business objectives. You will contribute to the achievement of revenue and profit targets through forecasting & budget management and identify opportunities to strategically grow the business and execute against them. You will assist in development of business plans and execute against the business plan through various programs, such as new product launch support, trade programs, advertising and media development, digital activities and consumer promotions, all while partnering cross-functionally with sales, finance, operations, R&D, market research, agency partners and other functions necessary to accomplish strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading development and execution of brand plans to meet the business needs and expectations for the brand including monitoring market dynamics to develop and/or change strategic and tactical marketing plans.

  • Review current and future forecast for the brand as well as budgets to ensure plans can be executed and financial targets delivered.

  • Partnering with media team, and agencies to develop communication plans and advertising to improve business results; Monitoring advertising performance to optimize return on investment.

  • Owning the commercialization and in-market execution of product launches including partnering with sales management to plan and execute retail programs.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams that may include Sales, Market Research, Design, Packaging, Finance to develop and manage marketing objectives, goals and strategies.

  • Planning and directing performance of an Associate Brand Manager to motivate, assist in goal setting, provide development opportunities and performance feedback.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • A BA/BS degree is required; a Master’s in business or marketing specialization preferred

  • A minimum of 8 years relevant work history.

  • A minimum of 5 years of marketing, sales or related experience in consumer related sector is required

  • Experience crafting successful advertising is required

  • Ability to understand a consumer target and position a brand/project/innovation and manage projects is required

  • Experience with agencies (especially writing insightful briefs that led to phenomenal consumer relevant work) is required

  • This position requires approximately 10% domestic travel

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in the Beauty/Hair categories preferred

  • Very strong analytical capacity, and track record in driving business results is preferred

  • Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $97,000 to $166,750. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
