Job Title: Senior Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage and oversee all pre-construction and field tasks, ensuring the successful completion of large-scale projects. This role requires strong leadership, project management skills, and the ability to work closely with various teams and stakeholders.

  • 180 MGW

  • Multiple Phase Campus

  • Needing someone with Data Center experience couple with Interiors of Data Center experience.

  • Max GSA Rate per diem ; 7 days / week

  • Eligible for bonuses

Responsibilities

  • Manage all Pre-Construction related tasks including building crisis management plan, schedule, site logistics plan, site-specific rules and regulations, and safety plan.

  • Oversee all field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers engaged in assigned projects. Conduct daily huddles, weekly work plans, job site coordination, and delivery of materials.

  • Develop, manage, and implement the project schedule, adjusting as necessary. Work closely with Project Management team to ensure the schedule remains updated.

  • Work with the Project Management team throughout the project, including selecting subcontractors, writing RFIs, and tracking procurement of materials, tools, and equipment.

  • Collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure project-specific requirements are met. Implement site-specific Quality Control plans, including Pre-Install Plans, First Work Inspections, Inspections, Observations, and Punch lists.

  • Ensure all on-site documentation, including drawings, logs, and inspection books, are updated and current. Assist in the documentation of As-Built drawings.

  • Align with the budget set for the project, including labor, materials, and equipment. Work with the Project Management team to assess weekly/monthly cost projections and expenditures.

  • Manage overall site labor, material, and equipment budget for the duration of the project.

  • Ensure all project closeout tasks are completed, including punch list execution, commissioning, final inspections, and owner training.

  • Provide intentional leadership for the project team in Lean methodologies, standard work, and Pull-Plan sessions.

  • Drive a safe environment by leading job safety meetings and orientations. Ensure all OSHA and other required rules and regulations are met.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors.

  • Support and follow standard work.

  • Participate in and support the implementation of Lean and continuous improvement culture.

Essential Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in project management and commercial construction.

  • Strong background in estimation.

  • Experience in managing large or complex projects.

  • Proficiency in construction management.

  • Experience working with subcontractors.

  • Data center experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, education, manufacturing, or large commercial projects.

  • Proficiency in using project management software such as Procore or equivalent.

Work Environment

This position is primarily on-site. The role involves working on large commercial projects and requires regular interaction with various teams and stakeholders. The work environment emphasizes safety, quality control, and continuous improvement.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $160000.00
