Position Title: Powder Coater – Day Shift Only

About AGI

AGI Hi Roller manufactures a line of premier commercial enclosed, dust-tight and self-reloading conveyors, designed for installation in grain handling facilities, soy and corn processing operations and industrial operations. It specializes exclusively in the design and application of conveyors which will not only contain dust and spilled materials but will also automatically reload that material back on the carrying surface of the belt.

The Opportunity

Join the Hi Roller team as a Powder Coater and help build top-quality grain conveyors from scratch. You’ll work with fresh, rust-free steel and precision laser-cut parts that fit together seamlessly, making your job straightforward and efficient. Our modern, climate-controlled facility is equipped with a fully automated, continuous powder coating system. Using GEMA powder coating equipment, you will apply our high-gloss protective coating in an environmentally controlled room.

The Team

Our large production team consists of powder coaters, welders, assemblers, metal fabricators, and more. As a Powder Coater you will collaborate with your Production Supervisor and peers to produce top-quality finished parts for our grain conveyors.

Responsibilities

• Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits. Wear safety shoes, safety glasses, cut resistant gloves, PAPR’s and Tyvek suits.

• Use hand tools such as grinders, air and power tools.

• Read, understand, and follow blueprints.

• Keep work area clean.

• Keep up with production demands while working safely.

• Perform Quality Checks

Qualifications

• Positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn a must

• Previous experience is a plus but we will train the right candidate

• Ability to handle repetitive tasks

• Ability to lift and maneuver 55 pounds repeatedly

• Ability to read and use tape measure
