Job Summary

Provides athletic training services per contract to schools, organizations, and events. Athletic trainer will provide injury assessment, treatment, first aid, prevention, and reconditioning services as assigned and set forth by the BOC.

Education and/or Experience

  • Master’s degree preferred.

Certification/Licensure/Registrations

  • Certified as an Athletic Trainer required through BOC.

  • Licensed as an Athletic Trainer in the state of South Dakota.

  • Licensed as an Athletic Trainer in the state of Iowa based off job assignment.

  • If job assigned in Iowa, completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter.

  • CSCS certification through NSCA preferred.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $23.75 - $36.00 per hour
