Job Summary

*This position is 15 hours per week. Schedule is flexible Monday - Friday between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Assist in the daily Foundation Operations activities. Independently seek out additional information, knowledge and training to further understand the Foundation CRM and other platforms. Provides support and coordination of foundation operation activities with a knowledge of the principles, practices, and ethics for non-profit fundraising. Collaborates with Foundation team members to assist with the processing and analysis of outreach efforts and fundraising strategies to maximize participation and/or contributions and minimize costs.

Prioritizes and completes activities associated with gift acceptance, processing and receipting ensuring confidentiality of associated data information. Fully understands and applies industry and professional standards related to regulations of varied gift types contributing to the analysis of gifts ensuring appropriate, accurate and timely documentation within associated CRM systems. Prepares receipts and acknowledgement letters in accordance of IRS regulations. Assists with database maintenance, accessing and updating donor files and maintaining information with proficiency and accuracy.

Assists with the development and deployment of standard and custom reports, communications and dashboards in a manner suitable for those receiving it, including both internal and external recipients. Documents and maintains standards for internal foundation CRMs processes. Provides support with identifying and analyzing trends or patterns within complex data sets to provide recommendations and possible solutions including support for the Foundation's development and stewardship functions by assisting with identification of potentional stewardship strategies and portfolio management. Assists with monitoring and analyzing return on investment of various communication activities, including events, mailings, and digital communications. Utilizes outside sources, including social media and digital analytics, to monitor online engagement and marketing performance. Assists in creating and executing data management strategies, making recommendations to improve data flow, availability, and quality. Works closely with all areas of the organization to develop an understanding of business requirements and goals to provide best service.

Ability to be adaptable and accommodate changing situations and workloads. Detail orientated with accuracy regarding processing and analysis. Proactively seek improvement and monitor feedback to make recommendations for information system modifications needed to support effective and accurate reporting and analysis for the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required. In lieu of education, leadership may accept three years of applicable experience.

Previous experience of two or more years in business, finance, data science, statistics, information management, analytics, fundraising or related field is preferred. Previous experience operating reporting and analytic tools, such as Raiser's Edge or another CRM is preferred.
