Service Project Manager - Join Our Growing Team!

We are looking for a motivated and organized Service Project Manager to oversee electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring they run smoothly, on time, and within budget. This role will be key in managing project estimates, collaborating with various teams, and delivering excellent customer service. If you have experience in the electrical industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for managing projects, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Project Estimation & Management:Create detailed cost proposals using estimating software and organize project plans. Ensure accurate take-offs and cost estimates to determine overall project costs.

  • Supplier & Vendor Coordination:Gather quotes from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and successful project execution.

  • Scope Proposals & Client Communication:Develop and send detailed project scope proposals to owners, customers, and potential contractors.

  • Team Collaboration & Scheduling:Coordinate project staffing, working closely with team members to ensure all labor and materials are aligned for accurate billing and project delivery.

  • Project Oversight:Manage the project team, ensuring adherence to company policies, safety standards, and high-quality performance.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration:Work with other departments to ensure bids are addressed and projects move forward seamlessly.

  • Customer Relationship Building:Foster positive relationships with maintenance contract supervisors and help expand our customer base by supporting the Service Manager.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education & Experience:A high school diploma is required, while a bachelor’s degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred. Previous electrical experience is a plus!

  • Organizational Skills:Strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects with precision.

  • Industry Knowledge:Familiarity with electrical industry practices, codes, and systems (commercial, industrial, and residential). Knowledge of bidding processes and project management is a bonus.

  • Communication Skills:You’ll need to be comfortable interacting with team members, subcontractors, vendors, and customers, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Math & Technical Skills:A solid understanding of math and the ability to read blueprints is required.

  • Tech Savvy:Good computer skills, with knowledge of electrical estimating software preferred.

  • Driver’s License:A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
