Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our restaurant operates efficiently and provides an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, managing a team of employees, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Manage and train a team of employees, including wait staff, hosts, and kitchen staff, and ensure optimal performance and productivity
Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain customers, such as creating promotional campaigns and organizing special events
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, and ensure that all necessary supplies are ordered and stocked in a timely manner
Handle customer complaints and inquiries, and strive to resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
Collaborate with the chef to create and update the menu, ensuring that it meets the quality standards and reflects customer preferences
Manage financial aspects of the restaurant, such as budgeting, cost control, and revenue forecasting
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, preferably in a high-volume establishment
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, kitchen procedures, and health and safety regulations
Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to effectively handle customer complaints and ensure a positive dining experience
Proficient in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and restaurant management systems
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
