We are seeking a Power Platform Lead to join our team in Hartford County, Connecticut. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Power BI reports and dashboards, managing Power BI service and on-prem environments, and providing technical guidance to the Power Platform development team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the Business Intelligence industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of visual management tools and key insights using Power BI for internal customers.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align data-driven strategies with governance frameworks.

• Oversee the administration, security, governance, and maintenance of Power BI service and on-prem environments.

• Develop and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Page solutions to enhance user experience and automate business processes.

• Ensure integration of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Page solutions with other systems and data sources.

• Provide technical guidance and share best practices with the Power Platform development team and Power BI user community.

• Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the Power Platform and data analytics domains.

• Use BusinessObjects Technologies, Cognos Business Intelligence, Dax Technologies, and Informatica to support business intelligence functions.

• Utilize Maps API for data visualization and location-based insights.

• Fulfill Business Intelligence (BI) requirements and communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements • Applicant should have more than 5 years of detail oriented experience in a relevant field.

• Proficiency in BusinessObjects Technologies is required.

• Familiarity and working experience with Cognos Business Intelligence is a must.

• The candidate should have practical knowledge of Dax Technologies.

• Proficiency in using Informatica is expected.

• Experience in using Maps API is required.

• The candidate should possess strong Analytics skills.

• Business Intelligence (BI) skills are necessary for this role.

• The applicant should be adept in handling Business Intelligence Technologies.

• Proficiency in creating and managing Business Requirement Documents is necessary.
