Summary

The Learning Designer and Change Manager is a dual role position responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training material in support of complex technology deployments while also leading and managing organizational learning and adoption of new technology. The role requires expertise in instructional design, change management, and effective communication to support organizational growth and transformation.

Position Responsibilities

Training content development

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and effective training material, including use of guided learning platforms such as WalkMe or Oracle Guided learning, presentation, manuals and other instructional content.

  • Needs assessment: Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to identify training needs and objectives, ensuring alignment with project goals and application adoption strategy.

  • Instructional design: apply instructional design principles to create learner-centric training content.

  • Evaluation and feedback: Implement assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of training, gather feedback from participants, and make data-driven improvements.

Change Management

  • Change strategy: Develop and implement change management strategies and plans to support project objectives.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders at all levels to communicate the vision, objectives, and benefits of change initiatives (projects), ensuring buy-in and support

  • Impact Analysis: Conduct impact assessments to understand the effects of change on the organization and its employees about upcoming changes, timelines, and expected outcomes.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

  • Education: bachelor’s degree in instructional design, organizational development, or related fields. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Experience: minimum 5 years related experience with proven experience in training content development and change management experience in e-learning development is a plus.

  • Technical skills: Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as articulate and guided learning tool such as WalkMe.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely. Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

  • Knowledge: strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies, and change management best practices

  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Skills

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), or Prosci (Change Management Certification)

  • Graphic Design: Basic Graphic design skills for creating visually appealing training and change management content.

  • Change Management tools: proficiency with change management tools and software.

Physical Demands

  • Able to work in an office environment (Constant)

  • Required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)

Special Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder), per ITAR definition

The salary range for this role is:

$89,630 - $127,050

This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”).
