Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager/ Generalist in Signal Hill, California
Description We are seeking a diligent Human Resources (HR) Manager/ Generalist to join our team located in Signal Hill, California. The HR Manager/ Generalist will primarily focus on managing labor relations, administering HRIS systems, and supervising HR administration for approximately 70 employees, the majority of whom are based in the factory. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise the administration of the Human Resources Management System to maintain accurate employee data
• Use Paychex for payroll processing and ensure accuracy of check stubs
• Manage labor relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with employees, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are understood and adhered to by all employees
• Implement Spanish translation services as necessary to facilitate effective communication with Spanish-speaking employees
• Facilitate HR-related training and development programs
• Keep current labor posters to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Monitor individual employee performance, providing feedback and implementing appropriate action when necessary
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of employee records and information. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role
• Proficiency in Paychex HR software
• Fluent in Spanish, both spoken and written
• Ability to translate documents from English to Spanish, and vice versa
• Solid understanding of labor relations laws and practices
• Proficient in using various Human Resources software
• Experience in managing HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems
• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration tasks such as recruitment, training, and employee relations
• Proven track record in managing Human Resources Management System
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred TalentMatch®
