If you are a Bill of Material Analyst professional, our Sidney, OH location has an opportunity for you. The Bill of Material Analyst creates and maintains accurate and consistent multi-level Bills of Material (BOM) and Item Master records for Finished Goods to support order management, manufacturing, material requirements and cost. Nameplate and product information for customer databases (CPID and OPI) are also included.

As a Bill of Material Analyst, You Will:

  • Coordinate information from Engineering, Design, Change Control, Regulatory Agencies and Product Planning. (Cross functional areas including IT, Cost, Order Management).

  • Construct BOMs and nameplate information provided from cross functional areas.

  • Understand operating systems (Oracle) and how to apply ECN and request (with impact to cross functional groups included but not limited to cost, production orders and inventory of all components.)

  • Actively engages in cross functional communication to ensure accuracy and timely creations and maintenance of BOMs and product information.

  • Evaluates all requests to update BOMs and Nameplates for compliance to customers' requirements and operating systems standards.

  • Ensure Finished Goods is in compliance with Product Planning goals and plant product availability.

  • Participates in all BOM related support for Design and Engineering.

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering Technology or Associate's with related experience.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a fast learner.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Able to work independently as well as within a team.

  • Experience with MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook.

Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:

  • 2+ years experience working with BOMs and Item Master.

  • Oracle experience a plus.

Flexible Work Schedule – Remote Work Option and Core Hours

This role has the flexibility of a remote work option up to three days a week and a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm. About our Location

The newly renovated Sidney campus has 1M square feet of manufacturing floor with an additional 120k square feet of leading-edge lab facilities. This location is the headquarters for the HVACR Americas business unit. Through our 30 years of scroll compressor expertise, our products help bring comfort and convenience to commercial, industrial, and residential spaces. Approximately 1600 employees work in Sidney, who all support a multitude of business functions.
