Honeywell Technician-Electronic-Level 2 in Shreveport, Louisiana

As a Technician Electronic Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of instrumentation and electrical systems. You will be accountable for troubleshooting, repairing, and testing instrumentation and electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance. You will report directly to the R&O Maintenance Analyst Supervisor and work out of our Shreveport location. This position requires you to work on-site. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the reliability and functionality of instrumentation and electrical systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring that our instrumentation and electrical systems meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and electrical systems and equipment

  • Troubleshoot and repair Burner Management System components

  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities

  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations

    U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

    Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

    YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in instrumentation and electrical system troubleshooting and repair

  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation and electrical equipment and systems

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and P&ID’s

    WE VALUE

  • Associate's degree in instrumentation or electrical

  • Experience in industrial plant maintenance including Burner Management Systems

  • Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols

  • Strong problem-solving and thoughtful skills
