Honeywell Maintenance Mechanic - Level 1 in Shreveport, Louisiana

As a Maintenance Mechanic I here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. You will be accountable for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring that all systems are functioning properly. Your expertise in mechanical maintenance will contribute to the overall efficiency and reliability of our operations. You will report directly to the R&O Maintenance Analyst Supervisor and work out of our Shreveport location. This position requires you to work on-site. In this role, you will impact the operational efficiency and productivity of our facilities by performing regular maintenance tasks and addressing equipment issues in a timely manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and systems

  • Understanding of mechanical equipment and tools including alignment

  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities

  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and P&ID’s
