KPMG LLP Manager(s) in Short Hills, New Jersey

Responsibilities: Participate in the execution of external audit engagements of clients, including Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants. Evaluate client companies’ business processes and environments to identify the risk of accounting fraud and noncompliance with laws and regulations. Analyze company data to identify historical financial and operating trends, quality of earnings and working capital considerations, and potential liabilities and risks impacting valuation. Research technical accounting issues under U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) standards, and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards. Understand and utilize KPMG's Audit Methodology.SALARY RANGE: $142,646 to $166,800 per yearWORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00am - 5:00pm) JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or foreign equivalent in Accounting or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the offered position or a related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a master’s degree plus two (2) years of experience.
