Description

We are offering a contract Power BI Consultant opportunity. This role involves data visualization development, business analysis, data sourcing, and training on Power BI amongst other tasks. As a Power BI Consultant, you will be working in a dynamic environment and will have the opportunity to contribute to various IT teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and visualize reports and dashboards in Power BI

• Source data from multiple platforms including data warehouses, spreadsheets, SharePoint, and Snowflake

• Use Power BI tools to provide technical support and troubleshoot existing reports

• Lead discovery sessions to document needs, understand current state data processes, and provide data visualization recommendations

• Collaborate within and across IT teams to achieve tasks and prioritize effectively

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis related to operations, processes, and other business-related issues using Power BI

• Enhance existing reports and create new ones by analyzing and documenting current state processes and operations

• Train business users on using Power BI and lead sessions to increase data maturity

• Participate in agile scrum events and break down work into user stories within Azure DevOps planning tool

• Develop paginated reports using Power BI report builder tool

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field

• Proficiency in Data Visualization and Analytics

• Adept at using Power BI and Power Query

• Strong SQL skills

• Experience in Agile Scrum methodology

• Expertise in Data Modeling

• Familiarity with SharePoint

• Experience with Snowflake data warehouse

• Ability to develop Interactive Data Visualizations
