Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

Job Description

As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC units, including refrigeration, chillers, condensers, package units, roof top units, and split systems. You will perform preventative maintenance and ensure efficient operation of all HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units.

  • Conduct HVAC refrigeration and repair tasks.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.

  • Service chillers, condensers, package units, roof top units, and split systems.

  • Install HVAC systems and piping.

  • Fit, thread, and braze HVAC components.

  • Conduct boiler and chiller repairs.

  • Read and interpret blueprints for HVAC installation.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC service and repair.

  • Proficient in troubleshooting HVAC units.

  • Experience with HVAC refrigeration and repair.

  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.

  • Skilled in fitting, threading, and brazing HVAC components.

  • Knowledge of boiler and chiller repairs.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 certification.

  • SST 10 certification (preferred, not required).

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Work Environment

Work involves service calls working hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
