OUTREACH HEALTH SERVICES Special Caregiver-Sherman,TX in Sherman, Texas

VARIOUS HOURS/SHIFTS

As a Special Caregiver for Outreach Health, you are responsible for helping clients that are disabled or elderly by serving as a back-up Caregiver in instances where the permanent caregiver is unable to provide services to the client(s). To ensure the client is properly cared for, you will understand and perform basic safety techniques.

The Special Caregiver is a positive leader and mentor, torchbearer for company values, and will represent Outreach Health with integrity in the community.

The Job:

  • Companionship, conversation, and assistance

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 6 months working experience as a caregiver, or enrolled in a vocational education program, and/or be a certified

Nursing Assistant

Must pass a criminal background screening

Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions

Must be flexible to service several different clients a day

Must be able to work with limited supervision and on weekends and holidays

Must comply with applicable healthcare laws and statues (local, state, and/or federal); e.g., protect patients privacy

Maintain a valid drivers license and own a legally registered vehicle that holds the minimum liability insurance coverage.

Must be 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
