JOB REQUIREMENTS: Operations Team Lead 3rd Shift - 51543 Johnsonville, LLC Operations Team Lead 3rd Shift Hours: 8:00pm - 6:00am, Sunday - Thursday (Overtime time as production demands) Responsibilities: * Consistently manufacture \"great tasting\" sausage products according to specifications. * Work together with & coach Formulation, Stuffing, & Smoking Members to obtain World Class results in safety, yields, and overall business costs. * Lead daily tailgate team meetings by offering ideas and suggestions, challenge members to think outside the box & support team members as needed. * Coordinate and participate on project team as needed. * Using innovative thinking, set goals and objectives; both personal and as a Team Member to acquire great performance to support the Johnsonville Way * Learn and gain a deep understanding of the cooked/smoked side of the process; primarily Formulation & Stuffing and secondarily Smoking. * Responsible for the performance, productivity, and efficient utilization of resources. * Create an environment that ensures Member involvement and implementation of Operator Drive Reliability (ODR), new ideas, and guidelines that ensure fairness to all Members. * Ensure appropriate Coaches & Members are aware of problems, issues, and events that could affect safety, food safety/quality, cost, customer service, Member development and BPTW. * Ensure a safe, helpful, team atmosphere, which promotes continuous improvement among team Members. * Facilitate the Red Zone daily huddles in both Stuffing, Formulation and Smoking as needed.. * Coordinate 30, 60, 90 day & annual reviews with all 3rd shift members. * Coordinate the annual \"Manufacturing Building People\" process for all 3rd shift members. * Must become fully Competent in Kronos and SAP. Qualifications: * Successful completion of all Formulation Grinder / Blender and Raw Team Leader Skill Blocks within an eighteen-month period * Strong math and written/verbal communication skills required * Must be able to complete production documentation paperwork accurately.
