External applicants must be eligible to work in the US. Your Role: The Manufacturing Supervisor at MilliporeSigma is accountable for team performance and results. The Supervisor will allocate, coordinate and supervise work as a team leader in addition to monitoring progress, timeliness, completion and quality. The Supervisor will receive guidance from the Manager to set team goals and priorities and assist in determining the appropriate approach for new assignments. The Supervisor is responsible for the following tasks: * Supervise operations within a facility to achieve effective and efficient output, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity * Lead and motivate following the corporate High Impact Culture standards * Organize the daily operation, communicate well, and remove obstacles to achieve results * Support in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires * Manage and drive the training and educational process and procedures for the production team * Conduct employee reviews for staff performance per company guidelines and support employee development to ensure individual and company objectives are addressed * Review safety procedures, operational procedures, and work instructions, ensuring they are up to date and can be executed safely * Build and maintain a culture of hazard recognition, risk assessment, and incident prevention * Report safety and quality events, and assist in root cause analysis and sustainable resolution * Lead or participate in the Emergency Response Team activities. Complete the training requirements to be able to support the team in an emergency response event, in an incident command role or in other roles required for safe and effective hazard mitigation * Lead the Continuous Improvement and Continuous Optimization efforts following Operational Excellence strategy and educational opportunities * Ensure the group maintains and improves work areas following the established 6S program * Shift/hours: 3rd shift, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Sun - Thu Physical Attributes: * Work with open chemicals; wear appropriate PPE (including respirator, hard hats, glasses/goggles, chemical resistant suits, gloves, safety shoes) * Lift 50 lbs * Push and pull heavy materials Who You Are: Minimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of chemical manufacturing operations or R&D experience Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor\'s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, biology or other scientific discipline * 2+ years of chemical manufacturing operations or R&D experience * Strong leadership skills * Strong communication skills - communicate with all levels of organization and across functional groups * Problem-solving & analytical skills - analyze information and make decisions based on needs, priorities, changing business conditions and budgetary constraints * Attention to detail - quality control, cleaning, upkeep and safety standards * Excellent project management skills * Fundamental understanding of quality systems and requirements (ISO standards, semiconductor practices, GMP, et ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjY4MTEzLjg3NzBAZW1kbWlsbGlwb3JlY29tcC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20
