JOB SUMMARY:
The Regional Sales Manager Rental will direct the actions, counsel, coach, and supervise the Rental Sales Rep charged with maximizing rental and sales revenue. This position can be based out of Cincinnati, Perrysburg, Lima, Troy, or Northern Kentucky.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a bachelor’s degree, formal college training, or additional training in related areas is preferred.
Four to Seven years of industry experience.
Knowledge and understanding of the training and support capabilities within the Caterpillar organization, of the start-up procedures necessary for a rental store, and the operations, sales, service, and systems.
Ability to perform and explain every job in the rental store, to organize and deliver basic rental training on products, operations, sales, service, and systems.
Retail sales experience and customer relations would be beneficial.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and DBS.
Sound organizational skills with the ability to coordinate programs and logistics associated with the programs are required.
Mechanical aptitude would be very beneficial.
Must have great people, teaching, and verbal and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. A moderate amount of travel within your region to support the sales team.
