Yamazen Inc. Account Manager in Sharonville, Ohio

Account Manager -- Responsible for the management of sales and relationships exclusively with Japanese customers in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky territory where many Japanese automotive makers are concentrated and building manufacturing plants; Manage a portfolio of accounts, generate new business, attend meetings with clients and oversee the sales transaction process; Act as the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers; Identify development potential in accounts by studying current business, and plan and develop sales strategies for the Japanese customers in the assigned region; Exercise authority relative to price, quality and delivery; Participate, plan and coordinate regionals events and maintain relationships with industry organizations and vendors to promote the products and services offered by Yamazen; Research and maintain knowledge of the competitive nature of the assigned region and report, as appropriate, any market conditions that could impact (improve or threaten) Yamazen's standing in the market; Manage sales team's continued growth and development, which includes coaching, counseling, and training; Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations; Confer with Regional General Manager regarding strategic account reviews, performance statistics and business development analysis; Help customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in person meetings; Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas; Prepare reports on account status and lisle with management teams at Yamazen USA and Yamazen Japan; Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors; Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders; Negotiate and draft contracts and close agreements to maximize profits; Ensure the product details, specifications and customer's final approval before order process; Manage each project by overseeing the time table; Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives; Assist with challenging customer requests to resolve any issues; Participate in machine installation and provide technical support if necessary. Salary: $110,157/year. Requirements -- Bachelor's or foreign degree equivalent in any field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in client management and business development. Special skills: Experience providing strategic support to upper management and transacting business with or liaison with Japanese customers. Frequent domestic travel and annual international travel to Japan required.
