Aerotek Machine Setup Operator in Shakopee, Minnesota

Machine Setup Operator / Weekly Pay / 3rd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Setup Operator to join our team in manufacturing a variety of soaps, detergents, and health & beauty cosmetic products. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively disassembling, re-assembling, adjusting, and setting up equipment to produce products within desired specifications. You will also coordinate and perform tasks related to production needs, ensuring timely and efficient product changeovers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform tasks for production needs, including changing parts, sanitizing kits, and staging parts and equipment for product changeover.

  • Organize and stage non-sanitized parts for production changeovers in a timely manner.

  • Inspect parts and equipment after sanitation and prior to staging.

  • Follow all established GMP and safety standards.

  • Perform light maintenance duties as needed for sanitation tasks.

  • Maintain and coordinate a clean parts room, and assist in keeping the sanitation room clean and organized.

  • Set up totes and tanks to ensure fill gets to the production line efficiently.
