Description
We are on the lookout for an adept Project Assistant to be a part of our team located in SEYMOUR, Connecticut. The primary role will be to manage customer service and data entry tasks in a manufacturing environment. The position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting in the management of project timelines to ensure efficient workflow
• Providing customer service by resolving customer inquiries promptly
• Performing data entry tasks and maintaining accurate records
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft tools to organize files and manage data
• Providing clerical support to various departments and performing specialized clerical duties as required
• Scanning, organizing and maintaining files for easy access and retrieval
• Overseeing shipping functions and ensuring all tasks are performed accurately
• Operating ECI M1 software to manage and track project details
• Ensuring basic office skills are utilized in carrying out daily tasks
• Adapting to the manufacturing industry environment and complying with industry standards.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
• Experience with data entry and computer data entry skills
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with various stakeholders
• Proven ability to organize files and manage documentation
• Experience with scanning and shipping functions
• Basic office skills are essential
• Capable of performing clerical duties and providing clerical support
• Knowledge of specialized clerical tasks is a plus
• Familiarity with the manufacturing environment and industry
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• A proactive approach and the ability to take initiative.
