7 Cedars Resort Hotel Maintenance Technician in Sequim, Washington

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

  • Ensures consistent, high quality maintenance standards are maintained for the entire property.
  • Assists with light plumbing duties.
  • Performs basic electrical repair on items including appliances, light fixtures, switches, outlets, and more.
  • Performs light carpentry work including fixing doors & windows, replacing shelves, and other interior and exterior work.
  • Professionally engages with guests to assist with minor maintenance concerns in rooms.
  • Professionally communicate by radio and responds to requests by hotel staff and supervisors.
  • Painting when required.
  • Assist with custodial and grounds work as needed.
  • Maintain the appearance of hotel guest rooms, hallways, lobby, entrance, patio, vending and elevators.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance needed and performed.
  • Must be knowledgeable and ensures compliance with all applicable safety regulations, laws, and internal policies/procedures.
  • Performs routine and preventive maintenance as needed for the hotel. 
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Must follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Follow all general and department policies and procedures.

     

     

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members.
  • Strong organization, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
  • Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner. 
  • Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
