Philips Field Service Engineer (신입-경력 5년차) in Seoul, South Korea

Role Summary

Philips sleep and respiratory care is the leading company in the global home healthcare market. This role will be responsible for the SRC Medical device repair and refurbish to satisfy customer requirement in terms of service quality and lead time. Collaborate with groups and individuals to provide products and solutions that give them increased efficiency, higher levels of service, and improved satisfaction with their customers and patients. Also need contribution of SRC Korea asset effective management through right refurbishment of return device. This role will be responsible for distributor capability building through regular training.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Certify SRC product repair and refurbish capability from Global Service Center

  • Execute and manage repair and refurbishment operation for sleep and respiratory products with partner service company

  • Manage SRC Korea Service Center Facility including Repair Tools and Spare Parts with partner service company

  • Maintain SRC Korea Service Center SOP and operation manual with partner service company

  • Provide technical and repair support service for partner and customers.

  • Certify SRC product repair and refurbish capability from Global Service Center

  • Support to conduct product installation and develop operation / maintenance guide for customer and hospitals

  • Maintain outstanding customer satisfaction scores, with the professional communications and soft skills necessary to defuse difficult customer situations and work to problem resolution

  • Manage to visit customer location and look after the device Philips provided(national wide location)

  • Prepare customer claim and report any critical issue to Manager following by Corrective Action Preventive Action procedure.

  • Good communications skills needed with our partner and teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree holder in Medical Engineering or electrical engineering and related

  • Minimum of 0-3 years’ experience in Service Center and Medical device repair work (Basic knowledge in Bio- medical technology and electronic products)

  • Proactive to support both internal and external customers

  • Proficient in MS Office suite of products such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and SAP Business One or SAP

  • Technical aptitude to solve basic desktop problems. Resourceful in searching Web for IT solutions.

  • Strong desire to learn and grow professionally

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

  • Able to develop clear & logical plans
