We are looking for a professional like you to join our team who can utilize their expertise in developing planned job packages for maintenance mechanical repair work and improvement project based on priorities established by the Maintenance Gatekeeper.

As aMaintenance Planner you will LEAD by……….

• Demonstrating an understanding of the strategic direction of the business and production and/or maintenance and work processes at the site

• Mastering the ever-changing priorities of the site related to production equipment.

• Improving work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of manpower, parts and material, and equipment access

• Managing unplanned work orders; generating job plans including labor, material, equipment, and services; creating job packets for field execution; and continually improving job plans via updates based upon feedback.

• Collaborating with the Maintenance Scheduler and the site Gatekeeper to execute highly developed job packages through internal and external maintenance resources.

• Utilizing Standard Work, you will continuously improve the planning process by developing and implementing efficient methods and strategies.

• Developing a deep understanding of the Site Manufacturing Process and the Maintenance Process

• Demonstrating accountability for your performance by being actively engaged in your professional development and Annual Goal/Objective Targets

Your elements for success……

• High school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years relevant experience with exposure to Maintenance in a chemical manufacturing or closely related manufacturing environment OR Post-secondary education in a related discipline and 3+ years relevant experience with exposure to Maintenance in a chemical manufacturing or closely related manufacturing environment.

• SAP experience with specific knowledge in the maintenance, storeroom, and purchasing modules.

• Detailed experience with rotating equipment, pneumatic systems, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and material moving systems is desirable.

• Maintenance planning and organizing skills, determine the degree of planning required.

• Proven ability to create, maintain data and use reporting features of office software programs.

• Demonstrated ability to meet multiple, concurrent deadlines with strong project management skills.

• Self-motivation and independent critical thinking with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

• Developing a Team first mindset and behaving in ways that inspire Team Success.

BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $62,500 - $85,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
