Specific Responsibility:

Support first article inspection requirements, PPAP, and other product related documentation.

Lead and / or support customer and internal Quality complaints, supplier non-conformances, MRB, and Deviations / Waivers.

Lead and execute Quality mold approval processes.

Develop and implement incoming, in-process, and final inspection plans utilizing GT’s quality data system.

Support the calibration process as required.

Facilitates internal training on quality assurance requirements, processes, and procedures.

Support programming, qualification, and troubleshooting of metrology measurement equipment to ensure product conformity.

Supports new product development and design for manufacturing activities.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Education: HS Diploma required, Associates degree or above preferred.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience.

  • Knowledge of inspection procedures, techniques, specifications & drawings within a manufacturing environment.

  • Good communication skills, including the ability to work cross-functionally required.

  • Understanding of LSS tools & manufacturing fundamentals a plus.

  • ISO/AS Quality Management System experience preferred.

  • GD&T, CMI and/or ASQ experience a plus.

  • Knowledge and use of standard measuring devices.
