Job Title: HR Administrator
Description:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bilingual HR Administrator to manage the day-to-day administrative functions of our Human Resources department! The role includes maintaining employee records, processing payroll, handling new hire onboarding, managing benefits administration, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and supporting employees with HR-related inquiries.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Must be fluent in Spanish and English
Proven experience in an HR administrative role, ideally within a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive employee information
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Lifecycle Management:
Process new hire paperwork, including I-9 verifications and onboarding procedures
Manage employee changes such as address updates, job title changes, and salary adjustments
Facilitate the exit process, including conducting exit interviews and final paperwork
Record Keeping and Data Management:
Maintain accurate and confidential employee files, including personnel records, performance evaluations, and disciplinary documentation
Update and maintain the HR database with employee information
Generate and distribute HR reports as needed
Benefits Administration:
Assist employees with benefits enrollment and changes, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits
Process benefit invoices and communicate benefit information to employees
Compliance and Legal:
Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws
Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures
Manage employee leave requests (FMLA, sick leave, vacation time)
Recruitment and Onboarding Support:
Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews
Coordinate new employee orientation and training programs
Employee Relations:
Address employee concerns and questions regarding HR policies and procedures
Facilitate conflict resolution and employee relations issues
Payroll Administration:
Gather and verify payroll data, including hours worked, deductions, and pay rate changes
Collaborate with the payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
