Dental Assistant Trainee - Posting #25486

Hourly Rate: $19.25

Position Summary:

Full-time Dental Assistant Trainee position available for our Dental Department in White Center - Seattle. The person in this position must be able to work Saturdays.

The main function of the trainee is to complete the dental assistant training program and assist with the delivery of dental services to clients. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to operate in a manner that will prevent employees/patients exposure to communicable diseases through proper infection control. 

A Dental Assistant Trainee must have the ability to effectively communicate with patients and staff both verbally and in writing. Have the ability to read and interpret common written materials about dentistry. Must be able to communicate basic mathematical figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, and percentages.

Qualifications and/or Requirements:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).

  • Must participate in the Dental Assistant Program.

  • Must be registered with the WA State Department of Health.

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with the utilization of computers.

  • Excellent customer service skills is a must.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
