This role is part of the Blue Origin Engines business unit, where our focus is the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of engines and propulsion systems. Built for multiple uses, our family of engines is powering the next generation of rockets for commercial, civil, national security, and human spaceflight. As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers and supporting organizations, you will report to the Turbomachinery Product Team Lead to ensure successful execution of the Teams' on-time hardware deliverables, as well as focused direction and efforts to enable rate production. Additionally, you will help lead the team through the product lifecycle and manage configuration changes, coupled with design improvements to reduce the cost of access to space. Special Mentions Relocation provided Travel expected up to 25% of the time Interviews will include a technical assessment Multiple positions available Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop schedule and budget; manage and report progress Develop and report key project metrics Coordinate with procurement, internal and external manufacturing to ensure that hardware priorities are well understood and are actively managed to support the need dates Identify schedule-critical hardware, equipment, people, and facilities; resolve constraints Develop recovery strategies when non-conformances or other escapes are identified Identify risks and develop mitigation plans Coordinate configuration changes with upstream and downstream stakeholders Assess programmatic impact of configuration change requests Create and manage line of balance for hardware and key equipment to support upcoming builds Partner with manufacturing engineering and contribute to development of detailed procedures Respond to unexpected changes to ensure integration activities stay on schedule, on budget, and are completed with high-quality and documented build pedigree Lead Pre-ship reviews, ensuring hardware and software/firmware readiness prior to shipment Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or other technical field) 5+ years of experience in Turbomachinery or liquid fueled rocket engines 2+ years of experience in design, development, integration, or testing of Hardware in a Fast-Paced Demanding environment Possess high attention to detail and strong organizational/coordination skills Strong knack for troubleshooting and quick thinking to keep the project moving forward Demonstrated ability to build trusting and effective working relationships that improve team performance and deliver results Working knowledge of configuration management principles and practices Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contri
