This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight. As a part of the Global Transportation and Logistics team, you will work with business, technical, and operations teams across the company to design, build, and implement a state-of-the-art transportation management system fundamental to making our transportation network the most capable and efficient on the planet. You will lead all activities for gathering and documenting requirements unique to the aerospace logistics network at Blue Origin. You will drive the production and implementation of the system and work to incorporate the solution into the daily business across the company. This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to set and communicate the vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery of transportation systems at Blue Origin. You will report directly to the Sr. Director of Global Transportation and Logistics. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Qualifications: This leader needs a to be a product thinker, capable of identifying and solving for customer requirements and adept in the area of design thinking Bachelor's degree or equivalent Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment involving ambiguity and high rates of change Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Intense curiosity for understanding the details of our business and how to continuously improve it 8+ years experience in product or program management, business development or technology Experience with working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams Experience with managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition Experience with end-to-end product delivery Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product Experience as a product manager or single-threaded leader/owner Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Responsibilities: They must be a thought-leader and expert in transportation management systems They will look around corners to predict blockers to scale and recognize and act on opportunities to develop best-practices and drive higher operational excellence, efficiency, and automation; Anticipate business needs with proposals and system solutions They will need to create strong partnerships across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, with suppliers They must have the ability and willingness to operate at all levels Define and execute product roadmap for Global Transportation and
