As an Automation Test Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing automated testing solutions that reduce test times and ensure seamless communication between critical applications such as LabVIEW and BDMS. Your expertise will play a vital role in optimizing our testing processes, enhancing data compilation, and ensuring the reliability and accuracy of systems. Special Mentions: Relocation Provided. Travel up to 25%. Responsibilities Include but not limited to: Design and develop automated testing solutions to increase the efficiency and accuracy of testing processes for pneumatic and hydraulic valves. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Production, and Quality Assurance, to automate incoming tests and identify opportunities for process improvement. Establish and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline data compilation and analysis within LabVIEW, MATLAB, Dew eSoft, and Python. Conduct regular assessments and enhancements of existing automated testing systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and integration. Actively participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to automated testing solutions, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Document testing procedures, results, and improvements to maintain high standards of quality and compliance. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in designing and implementing automated testing solutions in a laboratory or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ for test automation. Strong knowledge of testing automation frameworks and tools, including LabVIEW, BDMS, and other relevant testing software. Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve common goals. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively document processes and collaborate with team members. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in engineering or a related field. Experience in the aerospace industry, particularly in testing and validation of valve systems. Certification in automation testing or related fields. Knowledge of additional automation tools and methodologies.
