Along with other Business Consulting practices,Risk Consulting helps clients across various industries address the increasingly complex strategic, operational, compliance, and governance challenges faced by those responsible for managing or overseeing dynamic businesses. RSM's Risk Consulting practice offerings include: Internal Audit, Information Technology (IT) Audit, Security & Privacy Services, SOX Advisory, SOC1 / SOC2 Reporting, Contract Compliance, IT Governance Risk and Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management and AML/Regulatory Compliance Advisory. The Associate will be an integral team memberby assisting with engagements, conducting fieldwork, discussing findings and observations during client exit meetings, preparing work papers to support conclusions, reviewing staff work papers, and preparing written attestation reports. The candidate should have a strong knowledge-level of financial,operational, and/or information technology,internal controls, identifying risks and related controls, as well as performing test work of identified significant controls. The candidate should also be capable of conducting audit and attestation engagements independently and in-charging an engagement team. Responsibilities: Meeting with clients and conducting management consulting projects Preparing reports on consulting services performed for clients; delivering reports where appropriate and discussing results and recommendations with client Traveling to client locations as requested to provide consulting services Completing client projects effectively and efficiently and maintaining a high level of proficiency Completing daily time reporting according to firm standards, and assists in billing of time to clients as requested Attending appropriate professional meetings and conferences and reading publications to maintain and expand professional knowledge Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Strong verbal and written abilities Strong multi-tasking and project management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Client focused Ability to work as an effective member of a team Must possess a high degree of integrity and confidentiality, as well as the ability to adhere to both company policies and best practices Ability to work long days to meet deadlines when necessary At RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people.
