You'll design and implement resilient technology solutions that power Amazon's worldwide operations, working on projects that drive significant business impact through improved system performance, automation, and operational excellence. Key job responsibilities

• Design and implement technology solutions for PLM and supply chain systems supporting Amazon's global operations

• Build and maintain resilient, scalable infrastructure components for critical business applications

• Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort

Identify and resolve architectural deficiencies in existing systems

• Implement monitoring, alerting, and diagnostic solutions for business-critical applications

• Collaborate with partner teams to improve system integration and performance

• Lead technical design reviews and contribute to architecture discussions

• Troubleshoot complex operational issues and drive root cause resolution

• Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes

• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance requirements are met

• Participate in on-call rotations to support critical business systems

• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure

• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust

• Experience with Linux/Unix

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

• Knowledge of database systems and SQL

• 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with distributed systems at scale

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
