We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator III who can apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required! This role is on the Supply Chain Technology team, where we're creating digital infrastructure for the entire Operations organization. Our primary focus is on building scalable solutions that automate our business processes. You will bring your perspective to aerospace applications for Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin's facilities. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and ready to dive in. Special Mentions: Relocation provided Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develops subject matter expertise in assigned system(s) and uses this knowledge to effectively manage the system by ensuring it is functioning properly, delivering initiatives that further our mission, and performing maintenance and upgrade-related activities Develops and designs core operating system builds; responsible for coding, virtualization, and automation of systems Ensures users can access and use complex software systems effectively Sets up administrator and service accounts, maintains an active directory of users and system documentation, tunes system performance, installs system-wide software, and allocates mass storage space Identifies and evaluates vendor products and establishes vendor monitoring and tracking processes Recommends appropriate platforms for purchase, coordinates installation, and provides backup recovery Draft general IT communications to end-users including notifications of outages/downtimes Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 4+ years of proven experience administering enterprise-wide software systems Demonstrated understanding of deploying new software, leading user acceptance testing, and conducting wide reaching training sessions Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and cross-team collaboration, with the ability to work with and communicate complex systems to a diverse user base Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated understanding of Costpoint Past experience developing integrations to Gov Cloud tools Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Compensation Range for: CA applicants is $108,795.00-$152,311.95;WA applicants is $108,795.00-$152,311.95 Other site ranges may differ Inclusivity Statement Don't meet all desired requirements?
